Gary Bombay, President & Owner

Gary Bombay, Owner of Blue Grouse Wine Cellars

Gary Bombay is the owner and president of Blue Grouse Wine Cellars. He has enjoyed building the company from a small, two person operation back in 2007 to become Vancouver’s leading wine storage solutions provider today.

A job well done and a satisfied customer are Gary’s primary focuses in doing business. In fact, many of Gary’s past clients, both from Blue Grouse and previous businesses have become his good friends. Give us a call, ask for Gary and you’re guaranteed to smile.

Gary is entrepreneurial at heart having owned and operated a successful promotional products company in Vancouver for 20 years. Having forged strong bonds with many of his clients in that business, he continues to serve some of them today.

In Gary’s free time he enjoys a great meal (often cooked himself) and fine wine to pair with it. Gary is very active and enjoys playing squash and skiing on the mountains in his very own backyard. More recently, Gary has taken up recreational boating with the acquisition of his new baby, the H2O Bomber. Gary enjoys taking her out and sharing the experience with friends and family.

Adrienne Gavard, Operations & Marketing Manager

Adrienne Gavard from Blue Grouse Wine Cellars

Adrienne oversees all operational and marketing activities at Blue Grouse Wine Cellars but also works directly with clients to help plan their wine cellar projects. Call up the office or drop into the showroom and there’s a good chance you’ll connect with her.

Adrienne really enjoys working for a small, tight knit business like Blue Grouse as it allows her the opportunity to dive deep into a variety of projects and see the fruits of her labour. She derives satisfaction from happy clients, beautifully built cellars and watching the company grow.

Adrienne was one of Blue Grouse’s first employees so has seen and been instrumental in its growth of product offerings, evolution of the website and transition into its showroom and warehouse space.

Adrienne’s background is in creative communications having worked in marketing-related roles from York, England to New York City. She has also gained valuable managerial experience through her operation of gymnastics clubs and the customer relations department for a software development company.

Adrienne is passionate about wine and its proper storage. She has traveled to Florence, Italy to complete her WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Level 3 certificate, passing with distinction. She continues to plan many of her travels around discovering different wine regions around the world. In her free time, Adrienne enjoys running, fine dining, traveling and hanging out with her furry “kids.”

Sebastian Burzynski, Senior Project Manager & Installation Team Lead

Sebastian is one of the longest serving members of the Blue Grouse team. Having started as an installation contractor, Sebastian’s array of talents were quickly visible and he became the first full-time installer for Blue Grouse Wine Cellars. As the business has grown and evolved Sebastian now manages the installation team and overseas the large majority of wine cellar installations.

Given Sebastian’s strong technical knowledge and construction experience he may be the first person you meet when he comes to your home to survey the space you wish to convert to a wine cellar. Due to his diverse skill set, he may also produce the drawings for your project.

Sebastian takes great pride in a cellar well-built and a satisfied customer. Quality assurance is always at the forefront of his mind.

In his free time, Sebastian enjoys spending time with his family, shopping for treasures at Lee Valley and eating good food.

Robert Radomski, Wine Cellar Builder/Installer

Everyone loves Rob for his easy-going, friendly nature. Despite Rob’s care-free facade, he truly takes every installation project to heart and has a strong desire to ensure our clients are thrilled with the end result. He does a great job communicating with our clients to ensure they are informed and as much or as little involved in the installation process as they desire.

Rob comes to Blue Grouse with a strong background in all things construction, ranging from framing and drywalling, to fine finishing and millwork installation. Rob often takes on wine cellar installations involving full room renovations as well as racking and accent lighting installations.

Rob is always on the go. When not building beautiful wine cellars, he enjoys jamming with his band on the drums.
